Bentonite is an aluminum phyllosilicate clay composed of montmorillonite with the chemical formula (Ca,Na)0,3(Al,Mg)2Si4O10(OH)2 ·n H2O. Bentonite is a highly absorbent, viscous plastic clay which is a valuable binding, sealing, absorbing and lubricating agent in a huge variety of industries and applications.
Widely used in solvent-based coatings, marine paints, wood paints, inks, Epoxy paints, anti-corrosion paints, sealing materials, adhesives, architectural coatings, pesticides, oil fields, cosmetics, toothpaste and other daily chemical fields.
 

Features

Bentonite is a clay mineral, and its main components are silicate and metal ions. It has the following properties:

1. Expansibility: Bentonite has strong hygroscopicity, which can absorb a lot of water and increase its volume to form a gelatinous substance.
